Deze frequentiebereiken helpen clinici en technici bij het selecteren van de meest geschikte echografie-instellingen voor uiteenlopende diagnostische en therapeutische toepassingen, zodat een optimale beeldkwaliteit en diagnostische nauwkeurigheid worden bereikt. <\/p><ul><li><p><strong>Hoogfrequente echografie (10\u201330 MHz):<\/strong> Wordt gebruikt voor het afbeelden van meer oppervlakkige structuren zoals pezen, spieren en organen dicht onder het huidoppervlak. Dr. Stuart Foster, onderzoeker aan het Sunnybrook Research Institute in Toronto, Canada, overwon deze technische barri\u00e8res met zijn onderzoek en richtte in 1999 het bedrijf op dat tegenwoordig bekendstaat als FUJIFILM VisualSonics, Inc.
