\nWe are looking forward to the upcoming ESRA exhibition in Maastricht 7-10 Sept. – and this year more than ever.
\nAt our booth, no. 8,<\/strong> we will be showing the new SonoSite SII<\/a> and SonoSite Edge II<\/a> – two true point-of-care top ultrasound performers. We will also bring the new linear transducer for the SonoSite iViz<\/a>, which only broadens the possibilities for this highly innovative pocket sized ultrasound scanner.
\nTo top it off, we will also be introducing a world premiere from Temena: The new EVOLUTION<\/a> ultrasound needle – a small miracle in its own right.

\nThe new SonoSite SII<\/a> is an carefully thought through reinvention of the popular S-Serie scanner from SonoSite.
\nA completely new touch screen user interface now makes it even easier to perform an ultrasound guided procedure. The intelligent SII software ensures that only relevant functions for the chosen procedure is presented on screen. It has in truth never been more simple to operate an ultrasound machine.
\nWith the new SonoSite Edge II<\/a> visualization has been clearly enhanced via improved penetration and contrast resolution – the technology is called DirectClear.
\nEdge II has a completely sealed keypad to successfully inhibit liquid ingress. Also new is the wide-angle, full-bleed glass display with anti-reflection for minimal adjustments during viewing. The low-profiled keys with tactile feedback ensures easy cleaning and disinfection for the critical environments. Edge II is robust, reliable and responsive.
\nThe DirectClear technology is an industry-first, as are the new armored cable technology which now takes the transducer durability to new heights. Both the DirectClear and armored cable technology are available for both systems.<\/strong>

Still, the Temena legacy features remain with the atraumatic cut and the treated surface to ensure minimal micro-lesion of the tissue.
\nThe new EVOLUTION ultrasound needle of course features the Luer-lock connection for extension tubes – so no need for tiresome and hard to-fit lock adaptors.
